This is a place for you to escape from the frenzied drama that is so often a part of the Internet in general, and DeviantART in particular. We hope you enjoy the chance to get away from it all here at the Treehouse. Our FocusFirst and foremost, we are about relationships. We want you to get to know your fellow Deviants. Everything we do here in the Treehouse is for the purpose of establishing lasting friendships within our group and all over DeviantART. If you are a member here, get to know some of the other members you do not know. Visit their pages. Give insightful comments on their deviations. Leave them notes. Ask them how they've been. Find out what things they like and dislike. This isn't just another group for you to share your artwork. It's a place for you to share yourself. To Join...All you need to do is click the "Join" button. When you submit your application to join, we would love it if you would include on the application a little bit of information about yourself that you are willing to share with others in the group (nothing too personal - if you don't want it known to the other members, then please don't include it in the application). This is the form we use for information: Name: This can be your real name, nickname, shortened version of your username, or maybe "Just my full username is fine, thanks."  Interests/Likes: Things you like to talk about. Hobbies. Fandoms. Artists you admire on dA. Other groups you think are awesome that we should know about. (We hope to start a forum or chatroom later.) One thing you like about dA: Does something on DeviantART make you happy? The kinds of art you like to create: What is your preferred medium, genre, style, etc.?  Submission GuidelinesWe accept artwork of almost any genre, medium, and type. Whether it's photography, paintings, drawings, stamps, pixel art, digital paintings, typography, anthro, etc. Because the purpose of our group is to establish and maintain friendships, we hope you will bear that in mind when submitting. Here are a few more specific guidelines about artwork we encourage:
One other rule: Our group does not currently have a submission limit. We do, however, expect members to be reasonable and prudent in submitting artwork. Please do not submit your whole gallery at one time, or the submissions will be declined. Try to limit yourselves to a few deviations per week. Remember: The point of this group is not to promote yourself, but to promote each other!
