New Members: Be Sure to Read This!

Hello deviants! This is your Co-Founder, Mara (SpinningStarshine). If you are considering joining our group or if you have been invited, there's just one extra step you need to take just before or after clicking that "Join" button.

Because this group is about deviants getting to know one another (which we think = a stronger, better community = less dArama = a good time; which is why we're here, right?), please tell us a little bit about yourself when you join. Some suggestions:

• These are just a few examples, not required criteria.

• Keep in mind we want to hear good things. You can list some dislikes if you want, but we'd much prefer to hear all about your likes/interests!

• Most of this you've probably already answered (to some extent) on your dA profile. So it's easy!

• HarmonicSonic, your Founder, and I have already written about ourselves. Go see!

Once you give us your introduction, we can feature you to the rest of the group so everybody will know each other. From this we can build a group where we know each other both as artists with art to share and as people with interests to share.

This blog is a temporary introduction, and an overview for new members.  Every Monday, you will see a blog entry that lists information on all new members.  That said, I'd like to caution everyone: When you are giving us some info about yourselves, please do not say anything that you do not want shared with the rest of the group!

Ways you can provide information:

• In your application to join, you can mention it. (Recommended)

• In a comment on the group's profile page.
